Was searching on line, and found a site called "Meetup", and signed up for a walking/hiking group. You then just register for walks and meet the group at the designated area. Took Clem with me today, as it was only 4 miles and an urban walk. Met several very nice folks, chatted as we walked, then had breakfast at a local restaurant. Looking forward to several events in January.
Sounds like a lovely thing to do. Wish we could have joined you. We were completely snowed in yesterday. Kids got a day of sledding.
