The Bonnet House Museum and Gardens was  the home and studio of American artist Henry Clay Bartlett, built in the 1920's.  Though I took photos of the exterior, which is the only place photos are allowed, I really like this one of woman painting on the grounds. They have an active group, who have turned out some lovely things. Plenty of inspiration in these beautiful surroundings.

The Bartletts were great collectors, and there are carousel animals around.  He also obviously had a whimsical side, and in many places he has painted ceilings, and created faux finishes on walls and floors.  I really enjoyed visiting.
