Went exploring today. Had toured the House of Seven Gables before but wanted to see more of the town and the museum there. We accomplished both in spite of temps that hit high 90's. But we called it quits instead of going on to another town! Hot!! block after block of wonderful old elaborate homes built when Salem was a hub of maritime trade. And of course the history of the hysteria of the witch trials.
