I received this beautiful bouquet from Chris, Marcia, and the girls for Mothers' Day. What a lovely surprise! And the colors are SO me!!
Weather was beautiful, and Clem took me to lunch on deck of Goose Hollow Inn, a local dive with great food! Then we strolled around the area where there are lots of beautiful big old houses that are on the National Registry. Two little boys had a lemonade stand set up, and though they were selling it, were giving Moms a free one, and a cookie! How cute! Didn't have my camera for all of that, unfortunately. Spent the rest of the day in leisurely pursuits, like reading on the deck in the sunshine.....which led to a little snooze! And then a movie last night. No complaints at all! Hope everyone had as lovely a day.

ReplyDeleteWhat a nice way to stay in touch. Was a lovely day for you. I went to Matt's soccer game with Mike. Lovely day here too. However, glad I wasn't in NJ. Connor played there in 40 degree temp and 25 mph wind and not much sun. Our lawns are all burned out and it's only May!
