"Make you the world a better or more beautiful place because you have lived in it."This quote, attributed to Edward Bok's grandmother, was responsible for him creating this 205 foot neo gothic art deco tower in Lake Wales Florida. A carrilon was installed, and every day at 3pm a concert of the bells plays, which is beautiful to hear. Interestingly, it is located on the highest point in Florida....a whopping 300 feet above sea level! It was funny to actually look DOWN on something! Our Oregon house is nearly 1000 feet, and we look down constantly!
