Our hike this week took us east of Salem Oregon to a 7 mile loop. We soon discovered it was aptly named due to the beautiful color of the water. There was also an old lumber mill area with cabins and lots of deserted equipment, having been abandoned when some of the trucks fell off the narrow roads.
