We are in bright sun above the fog on Feb 8! When it gets like this, we can't help but think it looks like a river of fog. Notice the Coast Range in the hazy background. On the other side of those is the beautiful rocky coast of Oregon. Going through the passes to get over them can be treacherous, as they can be covered with snow even if we are not. Which we generally are not! Rarely snows in Portland, and when it does, generally melts very quickly.
